High alumina (Al₂O₃) is the main component of the refractory.
High alumina refractories have a high alumina content, which can be divided into several grades according to different content. Generally speaking, alumina content between 48% and 75% belongs to high aluminum refractory. Its main raw material is high bauxite or industrial alumina.
