Description of Zirconia Mullite Brick

Zirconium mullite brick is a special refractory material formed by introducing zirconium dioxide on the basis of mullite brick, also known as zirconium-containing mullite brick. Usually industrial alumina, zircon concentrate, fused zirconium mullite, sintered alumina and the like are used as the main raw materials. The raw materials are mixed according to the proportion and then mixed evenly. Then, the green body of the desired shape is formed by high pressure molding or other molding methods. The green body is dried to remove moisture and finally sintered in a high temperature kiln at a temperature generally between 1450℃ and 1600℃.

Application of Zirconia Mullite Brick

Glass industry: used in the flame space, flow channel, bottom and bottom sublayer of glass kiln, large arch, small furnace inclined arch and tongue arch, etc.
Metallurgical industry: can be used for lining of steelmaking furnace, refining furnace, etc., and can resist erosion and scouring of molten steel and slag.
Petrochemical industry: as lining material of cracking furnace, gasification furnace and other equipment, it provides reliable fire-resistant protection in high temperature, high pressure and complex chemical environment.
Other fields: can also be used for high temperature kilns in ceramic industry, high temperature sintering furnaces in electronics industry and other equipment.
